01How current are the metal prices?

GoldCalc retrieves cached gold and silver market data and shows when pricing was last updated. You can also request a refresh from the calculator.

02Where are my saved deals and photos stored?

They are stored locally on your iPhone. GoldCalc does not require an account or upload your deal history to a GoldCalc database.

03Can I use both grams and pennyweight?

Yes. GoldCalc supports grams and pennyweight, with common gold karats and silver purities built into the workflow.

04How do I manage or cancel GoldCalc Pro?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, then select GoldCalc. Billing and refunds are managed by Apple.

05What does GoldCalc Pro cost?

The US price is $3.99 per month or $24.99 per year. The annual plan includes a seven-day free trial for eligible new subscribers and saves about 48% versus 12 monthly payments. Apple shows the final local price and eligibility before purchase.

06What can GoldCalc Pro export?

Saved deal records can be exported as PDF, CSV, or JSON for sharing and bookkeeping.

07Why might a refiner return differ from the estimate?

Actual assay results, fees, losses, payout schedules, and changing market prices can all affect a final return. GoldCalc provides estimates, not a guarantee.
